Becoming a destination wedding videographer in Barcelona didn’t happen overnight.

Since I was little, my love for cinema began when I watched again and again Singing in the rain. I got hooked to cinema and its capacity to show the invisible. That passion grew and led me to study film direction. It was a time of participating in shorts, films and video clips and also to start in weddings videography.

I lived for two years in Rio de Janeiro and worked alongside important wedding photographers there and a new vision of wedding videography grew within me. That was the moment when I decided to create my own brand. It was in 2016, while living in the Amazonian city of Manaus, that Mireia Llum Films was born. I came back to Spain in 2017, and since then I have tried to bring to life in my works my own way of seeing things through creativity, honesty and emotion. And I have been lucky to work filming weddings in such amazing countries besides Spain as Portugal, Italy, France and Switzerland.

I’ve always been interested in stories about couples. The extraordinary and deep bond between two people who meet and decide to open to each other. I think it’s in pairs when we are able to live beyond ourselves, our ego, when we learn to see life through other eyes.
